An efficient tool for high-volume strapping operations. It automatically tensions, seals, and cuts the strap, ensuring consistent and tight bundling with minimal operator effort, ideal for production lines or logistics hubs.
Shanghai We Pack Co., Ltd. builds and supplies battery-powered electric strapping machines for plants that strap cartons, bundles, coils and palletised loads every shift. As a subsidiary of Shanghai Dreammao Packaging Technology Co., Ltd., we manufacture the tool together with the strap and buckles that surround it, so a strapping station arrives as one matched system instead of three separate purchases.
Seven battery-powered models cover the range, from an all-in-one unit that tensions, seals and cuts in a single cycle to compact and high-pull tools for restricted access or heavy loads. Each tool is configured around the strap material, the load and the throughput of the application it will serve.
Supply scope: battery-powered strapping tools, matched PP or PET strap, buckles, spare-part kits and OEM/ODM builds from 100 pieces, supported by our own R&D, testing and quality control teams.
Hand-held battery tools replaced manual tensioners and pneumatic strappers on most dispatch floors because they remove the air line, the loose strap tail and the inconsistent pull of a hand tool. A single trigger cycle tensions the strap, welds the joint by friction and cuts the tail, which keeps joint quality independent of how strong the operator is at the end of a shift.
Typical duty points are end-of-line carton closing, bundle consolidation before palletising, coil and profile wrapping, and re-strapping at the loading dock. The same tool family also serves field and yard work where no compressed air or mains power is available.
Our Electric Strapping Machine range is organised by duty rather than by price alone, so a tool can be matched to the load before the quotation is written.
| Model | Tool character | Typical load fit | Strap fit | Configuration notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Q1 All-in-One | Automatic tension, seal and cut in one cycle | High-volume cartons, bundles, logistics hubs | PP and PET | Set as the standard unit for production lines; battery and charger count scaled to shift length |
| V1 Manual Tension | Operator controls tension; tool seals and cuts | Mixed loads, low to medium volume, varied package sizes | PP and PET | Chosen where the operator must feel the load before sealing |
| V2 Economical | Cost-focused entry tool | General carton closing, warehouse and distribution work | PP, PET where specified | Suited to fleets of tools across multiple packing benches |
| V3 Brushless High-Efficiency | Brushless drive for continuous duty | Multi-shift lines, high strap counts per hour | PP and PET | Specified when tool uptime and service interval drive the decision |
| DD19A / 25A High-Pull | High pulling force for heavy loads | Coils, metal, timber, brick, dense bundles | PET, heavy-gauge | Paired with high-tensile PET strap and matching buckles where required |
| JD13 / 16 Compact | Compact body for restricted access | Small cartons, pallet corners, narrow gaps | PP and PET | Used where a full-size tool cannot reach the strap path |
| JDC13 / 16 Portable | Portable format for flexible working positions | Yard, dock and field strapping, irregular shapes | PP and PET | Supplied with carry case and spare battery for mobile crews |
The operator feeds strap around the package, threads it into the tool and closes the trigger. Tension is applied to the set value, the friction-weld jaw melts and fuses the two strap layers under pressure, and the cutter releases the tail. Cycle time, joint strength and cut quality are the three outputs that decide whether a tool suits a line.
Joint strength depends on the strap material, strap thickness and the weld pressure the tool applies, so tool and strap are always specified together. PP strap is the economical choice for cartons and light bundles; PET strap carries higher retained tension and is the normal choice for coils, metal and dense loads.
Tool weight and body height matter as much as pulling force on a bench where several hundred straps are applied per shift. Compact models reduce reach problems on pallet corners; portable models keep the working position flexible where the load cannot be brought to a fixed station.
Strap, buckles and edge protection are supplied from the same production base, which keeps the joint behaviour predictable across a shipment. Our Packing Strap range covers PP, PET, composite and woven options, and the PET Packing Strap line is the usual partner for high-tension work.
Tools are configured around the working point rather than sold as a single fixed variant. We support OEM and ODM work covering tool branding, kit contents, charger plug and voltage for the destination market, battery count, carry case, and the spare-part set shipped with each unit.
For distributors and equipment integrators, the tool can be packed as a complete strapping kit with strap, buckles and a consumable starter quantity, so the end user receives one article number for the whole station. Printing and label content are agreed at the design stage.
Production runs under an ISO 9001 management system, with in-house laboratory checks and third-party verification through SGS and TUV where a project requires it. Our wider cargo securing portfolio is tested against AAR, SGS and TUV transport standards, and the same discipline is applied to tool assembly and final inspection.
Acceptance for a strapping tool project normally covers tension repeatability across a sample of cycles, joint strength after welding, cut quality and tail length, battery endurance over a simulated shift, and a visual and functional check of every unit before packing. Test reports and inspection records are issued with the shipment when the project calls for them.
| Project input | What it decides | Useful format |
|---|---|---|
| Load type and unit weight | Tool class, pulling force, strap grade | Product photo plus weight range |
| Strap width, thickness and material | Tool model and jaw set | Existing strap specification or sample |
| Package size and access clearance | Body size, nose length, compact versus standard | Min/max circumference and a photo of the strap path |
| Straps per shift and number of stations | Tool quantity, battery and charger count | Shift pattern and peak volume |
| Destination market | Charger plug, voltage, labelling and documentation language | Country and port of discharge |
| Branding and packaging requirement | Printing, kit contents, carton artwork | Logo files and packing preference |
Wearing parts are the weld jaw, cutter blade, battery and charger, and these are supplied as service kits so a tool can be kept in rotation without returning it to the factory. Each shipment includes an operating manual, a spare-part list and a packing list; training material and application notes are provided for distributor teams and end-user operators.
Tools ship in individual cartons with foam protection, consolidated onto export pallets or into a full container load depending on quantity. Our operations centre sits close to Shanghai Port, which keeps consolidated shipments of tools, strap and buckles moving on one set of documents. The wider Packaging Tool programme covers pneumatic strappers, tensioners, carton sealers and strap dispensers for lines that combine several closing methods.
Our tools are set up for PP and PET strap, with the jaw and tension setting matched to the strap width and thickness. High-pull models are normally paired with PET for coils, metal and dense bundles, while PP covers cartons and lighter bundles.
The Q1 all-in-one tool is the usual choice because tensioning, sealing and cutting complete in one trigger cycle. Where the line runs multiple shifts and tool uptime is critical, the V3 brushless model is specified instead.
Yes. We support OEM and ODM builds covering tool branding, carton artwork, kit contents, charger plug and voltage for the destination market. Minimum order quantity starts at 100 pieces, and printing is agreed before production.
Sample cycles are run in our in-house laboratory to check tension repeatability, weld joint strength and cut quality, and third-party reports from SGS or TUV can be arranged for projects that require them. Every unit receives a functional check before packing.
Yes. Strap, buckles and corner protection come from the same production base, which keeps joint behaviour consistent across a shipment and lets a strapping station be ordered as one package.
Load type and unit weight, strap specification, package size and access clearance, straps per shift, number of stations, destination market and any branding requirement. With those details we can propose the tool model, battery and charger count, consumables and packing configuration.
