Korean Customer Shares Container Cargo Net Application for Rear-End Cargo Protection

Shanghai We Pack recently received application photos from a Korean customer showing the use of a container cargo net for rear-end cargo protection. In the loading application, the orange cargo net is installed across the rear side of a shipping container, providing an additional restraint layer for palletized goods after loading.

The customer uses the cargo net together with PET strapping, also known as plastic steel strap, to help stabilize the cargo during transportation. The net covers the loaded goods from the container floor to the upper side, while the strapping helps bundle and secure individual cargo units. This combined packaging approach provides practical support for loads that need additional restraint at the container door end.

During container loading, cargo may be exposed to movement caused by braking, acceleration, vibration and changes in transportation conditions. A container cargo net helps create a flexible barrier between the goods and the container opening. It can help limit forward movement, reduce the risk of packages shifting toward the door and support safer unloading when the container is opened at its destination.

The application photo shows the net positioned closely against the cargo, with its grid structure covering the rear loading area. The bright orange color also makes the net easy to identify during loading inspection and helps operators check whether the rear-end protection has been installed correctly before the container is closed.

This customer application demonstrates how container cargo nets can be adapted to different cargo loading arrangements. Depending on the cargo type, pallet layout and transportation requirements, the net can be used as part of a wider cargo securing system together with PET strapping, dunnage bags, lashing straps and other transport packaging products.
